At first glance about MacArthur, this general was known by his words, "I came through and I shall return". He said this when his military base in the Philippines was destroyed by Japan and he and his troops were forced to retreat to Australia. After strategizing the war, in 1944 he landed in Teluk Hamadi, Jayapura, and built a base at the location of the MacArthur Monument at this time. The General proved his words because then he and his troops managed to get rid of Japan and avenge the defeat of America in the Philippines and at Pearl Harbor.

Inter-tribal warfare has been banned, instead this festival is held which turns the war into an art and cultural show to invite tourists. In the war at this festival, there is a scenario that is run. Usually the war will begin with the kidnapping of a woman in one tribe or the theft of a pig that becomes a farm animal here. ASIA TOURISM NO 1

August 20, 2018 1

A  S  I  A

Asia , the world's largest continent, consists of a total of 47 states . Here live about four billion people , this is after all 60 percent of the entire world population - thus, of course, Asia is the most populous continent.
Asia is the largest and most populous continent in the world, located in the eastern and northern hemisphere. This continent covers 8.7% of the total surface area of the earth and consists of 30% of its land area. With around 4.3 billion people, there are 60% of the world's human population today. Asia has a high growth rate in the modern era. For example, during the 20th century, Asia's population nearly quadrupled.
The Asian and European continents are continents connected by land and both form a giant continent called Eurasia. The boundary between Asia and Europe is so vague that some countries like Turkey can sometimes be included in Asia or Europe. Some landscapes that are often used to separate the two continents are the Dardanella Strait, Marmara Sea, Bosporus Strait, Black Sea, Caucasus Mountains, Caspian Sea, Ural River (or Emba River), and Ural Mountains to Novaya Zemlya. In addition to being directly adjacent to the European Continent, the Asian Continent also has a direct border with the African Continent which has a land border and meets around the Suez Canal.
Given its size and diversity, the Asian concept - the name goes back to classical times - which actually might have more to do with human geography than physical geography. Asia is very diverse and within each region there are ethnic, cultural, environmental, economic, historical relations and government systems.
Asia is bordered by both the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. The most important mountain is the Urals ; this separates Asia from Europe - both continents together are often referred to as Eurasia. Asia, on the other hand, is separated from the continent of America by the Bering Strait , a strait. The most important and also the most famous lake of the country is the Aralsee , a salt lake, which is located in Central Asia. The largest and deepest fresh water lake in the world is Lake Baikal.

Also in Asia are the highest mountains on earth - the best known is probably the Himalayas . Here you can discover the highest peak in the world, the 8,848 meter high Mount Everest . The second highest mountain, the K2, is also located in Asia. Due to the infinite extent of this continent, there are many different climatic zones as well as a very diverse flora and fauna. North of the Arctic Circle, for example, you will find the treeless tundra - reindeer, for example, live here. In the taiga in turn live two particularly rare species: the Amurtiger and the Amurleopard.

But even desert landscapes are no rarity in Asia. The best known is the Gobi desert; here relatively high daytime temperatures prevail, while in Siberia it can be bitterly cold. For example, monsoon areas can be found in the Mekong Delta, and rainforests can also be found on this continent.
The best time to travel to Asia varies from country to country. Avoid the times when the monsoon is active. In most countries these are the months from June to October. Thailand in turn is to travel throughout the year. Asia has a very long history and has been the cradle of many cultures. Significant are the innumerable great empires of the country; Unlike Europe, Asia is not so fragmented. The most important religions are Buddhism and Islam. It is interesting that all the world religions that we know today originated in Asia. Even in Asia, the difference between rich and poor is sometimes enormous. On the one hand, there are the highly developed industrial nations such as China or Japan, while developing countries such as Vietnam, Georgia and Armenia are facing some extreme poverty.
There are countless interesting travel destinations and important buildings in Asia. One of the most imposing is certainly the Great Wall of China , arguably the most powerful structure in the world.
The entry requirements vary from country to country. For example, a tourist visa is required to enter China . this usually applies for a maximum period of 90 days. A valid passport is of course also essential; this should also be valid for six months after the end of travel. Incidentally, the security measures are particularly strict in Japan - here the fingerprints are taken in by the tourists on entry.
You should not forget the necessary vaccinations, which are necessary for a trip to Asia. The responsible family doctor can help here. Especially against hepatitis A and B as well as against malaria vaccinations are essential before traveling to Asia.

EDUCATE CHILDREN AND SMARTPHONE

August 15, 2018 0

The average age at which children have access to their first smartphone is lowering more and more . In the fifth grade a nice slice of the class already has it usually and when you get to middle school, you can count on the fingers of one hand who does not have it.
The 2017 report of Ofcom (the independent competent regulatory authority for communication companies in the UK) shows us some interesting numbers: of children 8/11 years, 39% have their own smartphone, a percentage that rises to 83 in the band 12/15 years.
One phrase that we hear more and more is: we are giving a Ferrari to a child without a license ! And it's true unfortunately. Overseas awareness of this topic is now widespread, while in Italy we are starting to take the first steps now.
Families are increasingly social, the little ones are born that are already present online through the published photos of pregnant mothers and in this panorama we are all dazzled by the power of social recognition given by likes, shares and comments. Adults and smartphones are increasingly going arm in arm and consequently also the new generations. It often happens that we forget the power of these tools and then before giving them into the hands of a child, we should make the necessary reflections on the theme of young people and smartphones.
There is a strong illusion that giving the smartphone to the child will have more control. In reality at that moment we are giving him an instrument that will allow him to do an infinite number of things on his own, to go around the world, moving away more and more virtually and therefore more than a tool of control becomes a means of independence !

LIFE FROM SOCIAL FAMILY
Recently I had the pleasure of reading Life from the social family of Laura Lecchi , a lawyer who has been dealing with the law of new technologies for over 20 years. In his book, which I especially recommend to parents because it explains in simple language quite complex questions, Lecchi illustrates well the legal and legal landscape in which we move when we use internet, smartphones, social networks, gaming apps, etc.
Probably the family of which the author tells, would not go on vacation in a place without wifi, as we saw this summer in Carloforte, Sardinia. So it's better to equip yourself better in this panorama. You can no longer do without the phone and wi-fi, so it is better to prevent potential problems, especially when the protagonists of the story are underage.
A very interesting point in my book is the one in which he explains how to deliver the first smartphone to his son .
Many of the parents who contact me have 15/17 year old children and they ask me: how do I remove my child from my cell phone? Unfortunately, as in all aspects of education, it takes time, it is useful to start early and run for cover at the end is of little use. Last year on psychology today came out an interesting article about the concept that parents should be the first to leave the phone down. This simply for the fact that being an example is one of the first steps to educate to a correct use of digital devices .
The life author from social family explains the importance of giving the right value to the moment in which the first smartphone is delivered to your child . This can not be done when the child is now a teenager or even a month after delivery, must be done at that precise moment!

A CONTRACT BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR CHILD
The author inserts in the book a contract format that can be used between parent and child to establish the conditions of delivery of the first smartphone. His is a proposal, there may be others, but there are 2 basic points that you emphasize for the definition of the contract:
1.     It must be written : card sings! La Lecchi is a lawyer and therefore knows well the value of a written text rather than words spoken in the wind.Like all contracts then it must be dated and signed by both parties, so that there are no misunderstandings or possible misinterpretations.
2.     rules and penalties : each law provides for a relative sanction and this contract can not be different. Think of the deterrent to be used in case your child does not come to terms. The easiest thing can be to pick up the phone but if you want you can also find even more creative punishments.

LETTER ACCOMPANYING THE CONTRACT
This is my proposal, the author of the book does not speak but I think it is due to our different formations: she is a lawyer and I psychologist! You can write a letter, which accompanies the contract, or simply say these things verbally. In short, the means by which you wish to communicate it to your child, choose it but the content is important.

Dear Son,
we are giving you this smartphone that will take you to virtual places that we will never know, we are aware of it. For us it means giving you so much confidence and it is not a gift like any other.
We know that you can find things on the web that we can not even imagine now, some will make you laugh and others will scare you. There will be times when you feel you can not do without this smartphone, when the battery is going to run out you will run to look for a plug to connect it. There will be times when you will read about things that will make you angry, blush, shame, scare, frighten, worry, stay bad. There will be times when you will be looking forward to receiving a message response and will continue to look at the screen to see if it has arrived. There will be times when you want to spend all your free time with your new phone. There will be times when in front of a film, you will be instinct to control it. We know that there will be all these moments and probably many others.
But we want to give you confidence and then we give it to you because we believe that you will be able to manage all these moments. And more importantly, we believe that you will come to us when you will have doubts or problems with this new smartphone.
Remember also, as specified in the contract, that even if you have given it to us, when you do not respect the agreements, we will withdraw it.
Have a good trip in this virtual world and remember that you have the compass in your hands, always!
Your mum and your dad

CONCLUSIONS
As also the Prof. Simeone, University Catholic emphasizes, the moment when the phone is delivered coincides with the moment when you lose control over your child . There are no magic formulas that apply to everyone, just as there are no absolute rules that are valid for having the first sexual relationship in a person's life: it depends on the cultural context, the family values and the maturity of the individual! So even with the smartphone: for someone to have it at 13 years can be fine, for others to have it at 17 is too early because it would combine a lot of trouble.
What is certain is that it is a moment not be underestimated and therefore make a contract, establishing rules is certainly a way to formalize this step and give it due importance

Want To Be Successful Blogger? Follow This 6 Steps

Welcome, prospective blogger!
I will tell you 2 facts before starting:
·           If you just make a blog, it's very easy
·           But for a successful blog, it's not easy
You might be interested in becoming a blogger after visiting several big blog sites in Indonesia, then be amazed by them. Or because you hear that blogs can make money.
Whichever is the reason, this is the right guide for you.
I will not only teach you how to create a new account on Blogger / Blogspot and how to install WordPress.

If it's only 5 minutes, it's finished.

I will teach you more importantly ...

... which is a way to create a blog that has a high chance of success.

After you finish reading this article, you will be able to create a cool, interesting blog that is not inferior to the BEST BLOGGERS IN INDONESIA.
Please take a glass of tea or coffee, we will start immediately.

... before we start, one more thing:

Almost all new bloggers eventually fail after the first 1-3 months ... only a few can succeed.
How come?
Because they make a blog carelessly.
Because of the reason: the topic is mixed, the content is not quality, the promotion is unclear. It's all messy.
Then because the blog continues to be quiet, they finally get bored.

This is not to scare ...
... this really happens often.

Planning a blog is extraordinarily important, so you don't waste time, money, and energy.
Therefore, before we enter the way to create a blog, we will discuss the preparation first.
This guide consists of several chapters ranging from preparation, installation and use.

1.       Which topics can make money?

Based on a survey I did a while ago, most of the readers of this article turned out to want to make money from your blog.
Yes, blogs can indeed be a source of income.
But there is one legendary myth which states that only blogs on certain topics can earn income.
That is a big mistake.
All topics can produce.
Provided that the content you create is able to attract many people. Any topic can be made into a blog for income. Even blogs that are funny.
This is a story from personal experience:
7-8 years ago I tried to make a blog on tax topics, because he said this topic could get a lot of money from advertising.
Even though I am not at all interested in taxes.
As a result ... the content that I made is very low. Every time I write content, it feels stressful. Finally the blog is abandoned without getting visitors at all.
So, don't choose topics that don't interest you.

2. Choose the right blog platform for you

One of the toughest processes in starting a blog has passed us.
Now we go into an easier one.
Today's technology is sophisticated. By using a blogging platform, you can write on a blog like writing in Microsoft Word.
These are the 3 most popular choices:
1.      Blogspot - hosted
2.      WordPress.com - hosted
3.      WordPress.org - self-hosted
4.
There are still dozens of other blogging platforms, but I will not complicate your choice by discussing the less popular ones.

Consider these 2 terms: hosted and self-hosted.
What is that?
Hosted means your blog is 'hitching' on their website. So you will not have a pure website of your own, and your blog address is like this: blogme.blogspot.com
Self hosted opposite.
You create your own website with a platform called WordPress. The website will be 100% yours, but you have to pay for the domain name and hosting. Many beginner are often confused when they choose a blog platform, because on the internet according to different people. This guide discusses whicv one is the most appropriate for you

If you don't want to move pages, these are the weaknesses and strengths of each type of platform:
Choose a hosted platform (WordPress.com or Blogger) if you:
1.      Do not want to go out at all (though not much)
2.      Willing with limited features
3.      Willing to be limited in appearance
4.      Please name your website like this: namawebsite.blogspot.com
5.      Will your website be deleted at any time (if you violate the rules)

Instead, choose the self-hosted platform (WordPress.org) if you:
1.      Have a capital of around Rp. 300,000 per year (for domains and hosting)
2.      Want to have a website that is 100% yours
3.      Want to be able to change the display freely
4.      Want to be able to add whatever features you need
5.      Want to make a blog that looks more credible

That's just a glance.
Because it is very flexible, self-hosted WordPress is often used for functions that are more than just blogs.

For example, selling online, business websites, communities, and others.
I personally always recommend that people who are serious about blogging use self-hosted from WordPress.org, because it will be better in the long run.
But if your capital is really 0, it doesn't matter.
Even though it's a little more troublesome, when your blog is successful you can move from hosted to self-hosted. Many do this, so you can still start from hosted.
The self-hosted WordPress installation method will be explained below.

3. Determine hosting and domain service providers

For those of you who have never heard of this term:
Domain: name / address of your website. This blog is the domain domain  guidim.com.
Hosting: where your blog files are stored. Like a hard drive if on a computer.

The original understanding is more complex, but don't bother.
Both use the rental system. This means you need to pay every month / year when you rent a domain and hosting. There is no choice to pay once for a lifetime.
Its role is vital for blogs.
Of course you do not want the blog that you create often experience problems such as sudden death, or can not be accessed suddenly.
So, choose a trusted domain and hosting provider.
Here are some international domain and hosting services that are usually recommended for beginners:
·         Domain: NameCheap
·         International hosting: BlueHost  or HostGator
·         Hosting Indonesia: Niagahoster (free domain)
If you create an English blog, use international hosting. As for Indonesian blogs, use Indonesian hosting.

4. Determine a domain name

Domain names will always be attached to your blog.
Although it can still be replaced, it will be a hassle and if it is wrong it can be fatal. Therefore you should determine carefully the domain name at the beginning.
Here are 7 things that you must pay attention to:
1.      Adjust to the topic of his blog
2.      Avoid names that are similar to popular websites
3.      Easy to write, remember, and say
4.      As much as possible use .com
5.      Avoid strip / minus (-) and numbers
6.      Don't use someone else's brand
7.      Also check the availability of the username on social network.

Some people might not agree with me at point 4, because actually there are extensions other than .com which are also good. For example .org, .net, .co, .id, etc.
But the reason I chose .com was because it was the most remembered.
I have a blog with a .co, .net, and .org suffix, but in fact there are also many people who typographically ... they enter .com.
So first, .com, use the other as the last option.
Oh yes, avoid dashes (-) and numbers in the domain because people will consider them both as spam blogs. EXCEPT if indeed your brand uses one of them.

5. Installing a self-hosted blog with the WordPress platform

Now we enter the steps to create a blog.
In this article I will use NameCheap, HostGator, and WordPress (self-hosted) as examples. You can use hosting services and other domains because they are not much different.
Creating a hosted blog I don't need to explain again because you only have to follow the guidelines that are directly on the website:
1.      Blogspot
2.      WordPress.com

6.  Understand WordPress after installation

After the installation process above, you may feel confused where to go to publish new content. Here are some instructions for learning WordPress

a. Enter the WordPress dashboard
